1. I hate my wireless keyboard. Alot, it only types about half the letters then you realize that you've been typing a bunch of nothing...(swear, swear) but the bad dog that I love chews cords (and bras, and chairs and everything) So wireless keyboard it is.
2. I'm pretty much a retard on the computer...hence the bad dog at the top & the confession pic next. No clue how to change it around, and I don't really care.

Happy Birthday to my Bailey....

12 years old!!

Saturday, August 6, 2011

1. I confess this is Saturday

2. I confess that I am unbelievably proud of my Sister in law & her fam. Her son R. is an amazingly great defensive football player, very committed, works hard, has so much potential. It is awesome. Her daughter K. has amazing life goals and is grabbing them by the horns and making them happen. Pretty awesome for a 10 year old. J. the hubby, just received a rocking great promotion at work, that he totally deserved and H. the S in L keeps our business running smooth, keeps her brother on a fairly straight line & puts up with my sh** to boot.

3. I confess I LOVE my new Mumford & Sons album I got on Itunes...weird English pub music, but I'm digging it.

1. I confess that I think people who abuse animals and children should be shot. And, sex offenders should just be castrated. On the first offense, no questions asked, no debate just done.

2. It's hot and humid...I would be a poor east coast girl, this is killing me.

3. I hack my husbands facebook account, and post random funny things on it. (hee, hee)

More Pics....

Summer Lovin...

We went to St. George for a family getaway...We invited Brent's side to join us. His Mom & Dad, and sister Heidi's family took us up on the challenge. We started off by going up to the Dixie sign at night, not the smartest thing to do without flashlights. (Dang slippery, steep, big drop-off rocks.) My Colton promptly pointed out that we were disturbing several make-out sessions. (we were..Oops) Whatever, the view was beautiful and the shakes from the iceberg made everything better. Next up...Zions National Park. I love it there, the hiking and scenery are amazing. On a little side note....My adorable (naughty) nephew Ryan is going to hell... and in his hell, there are squirrels. Mr Smarty decided to lure a poor unsuspecting squirrel in and when the furry critter came for his Cheetos...he kicked him off the side of a cliff.. (I'm pretty sure he survived) Well, you shouldn't do this anyway, & his mother & I got after him (in a we are trying to not laugh, but that really was funny way) Well anyway, the little Chinese tourist took a special offense to the kicking of the squirrel, & let Ryan have it. After several "yes mams, no mams, I'm sure sorry, and will never do that again's" we were on our way. The rest of the adventure in Zion was uneventful. Next up was Tuachan, which was amazing as always...(after a false start, and epic fail on Heidi's part) Down time at the Fiesta Fun Zone, swimming, food and fun we made it home in one piece. Good times were had by all.

1. I confess that I love my husband more than life itself. He is amazing, and I am so proud of everything he has accomplished is our time together. I admire him for his strong work ethic, kind big heart, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humor (he has to, he's married to me).

Not only did we have our 1st child, he started a new job that had crazy busy hours, went to school for 4 years full time, during that time had another baby. AND he managed to do it all and then some. I am proud that he has always supported us no matter what, never used school as an excuse to not work, and now runs an extremely successful business. He is a rock star.

2. I hate excuses. I work full time, have a family, go to school...and make it work. Suck it up people and get it done.

3. I love my Auntie Vera...everyone should have one, But she's mine, & although I'm willing to share....She's still mine. She taught me to drive, to drink water without making noise, dating manners, and many more valuable life lessons. I'm forever grateful that my boys get to enjoy her too.

4. I'm selfish, I don't like to share. At all, if you want me to share you usually have to bribe me.

Funny Stuff...

I find this hysterical!!! Something that I would not feel bad about doing. Although, I also wouldn't feel bad about a electric sander to the nuts either. You get what you deserve. KARMA, she's a woman.

Worst Ever.....

Oh, what to say about this horrid movie. This is hands down the WORST movie I have ever EVER had the misfortune of sitting through. I'm all about funny, I even have been known to laugh at many MANY crass dirty inappropriate jokes. I'm not at all prudish, uptight, never been called a stick in the mud, fun squasher, or any other labels. BUT, this movie made me squirm in my seat, more that a little uncomfortable and just downright wasn't funny. AT ALL!!! The theater was packed and all we heard was uncomfortable squirming, whispers of "this really isn't good, to this sucks, to I want to leave." The majority of people were saying that the first one was way better.

The language was horrific, (again, not a prude) just because they couldn't find anything better to say. Even the actors seemed embarrassed and awkward in it. Bradley Cooper is hot as always, but even his hotness couldn't pull this one out. I need to go shower now, just writing this made me feel dirty.

1. I think it is pathetic that people can't tell time from a "real clock" aka one with numbers and hands. Hello, elementary stuff here people!! I love it when people are looking at the clock with a dumb-founded look on their face asking what time is it? Well, the little hand pointing to the number is the hour, and the big hand is the minutes, would you like to borrow some kindergarten worksheets?

2. I am totally traumatized by getting "older". I don't like it, I'm not embracing it, and I don't want to talk about it.

3. I wish school went year round...I'm dreading the "I'm bored's" that have already started & school is out today. Or, I wish my boys were still little enough to be excited by a "lets go to the park" If I were to say that now, they would think I'm insane.

4. I think that birth control should not be an option if you are going to a "free drug clinic"..aka methadone clinic. OR... you should be tortured, just like your making your babies go through. Either one is fine with me, come to think about it, torture sounds pretty good for some people. Actually, birth control should just be mandatory for the majority of society.

5. I confess I'm writing this now so I can avoid starting a load of wash, and doing the dishes.

Here's to my first confession...

1. I find totally inappropriate stuff funny. And I laugh at it, out loud. Often.

2. My husbands family is some of the worst drivers I have ever known. Ever. Period. Ask them they know and embrace it. And, it's scary as hell to drive with them.

3. It drives me crazy when my sister in law doesn't post. How am I supposed to know what the hell is going on if she doesn't blog about it??? Come on, don't disappoint me. I know you can do better.

whores # duece...

I almost peed myself laughing at this. So funny, out of the mouths of babes.

Um, No...

This is on a bulletin board in the hospital where I work...I know that we are all about the healing connections. But, they don't I repeat DO NOT pay me enough to use appropriate tongue at work. (By the way....what the hell is appropriate tongue??)

The Whore you Know...

I have been known to use the word "whore". Whore is indeed one of those fabulous words, it is versatile and can be used in many, many situations...For instance when you call someone a whore, it can be an insult..as in "look at that whore" or it can be a term of endearment..."Hey whore" (see versatile) You can use it to describe ex-girlfriends of your husband, because generally I don't like them (and they probably turn tricks)(see, whore)

But....please let's all remember that whores are people too. Whores might take offense if you actually call them a whore. If you are a whore, please understand that my usage of this word is not directly in offense to you...but really, you should be used to being called a whore. (and latex.)

And if your a whore who is proud of the lifestyle....Way to earn a living. You go girl. You probably aren't pissed off about my usage of the term. (But, you should probably still get tested for STD's)

ps...(this is dedicated to all the whores I know & love)
pss..(it was posted as a dare ;*)
psss..(I really do think this though)

Cupcakes.....

I have a new obsession...Cupcakes. Yes I know what the hell, they are like porn for me. I look up cupcake websites, I dream about cupcakes, I want to make cupcakes. Is there a cupcake anonomous meeting somewhere? Right in the middle of my little obsessive fit I found a shop that is HEAVEN!!! Sweet Tooth Fairy located in Layton next to the Cafe Rio (my other dirty habit) & MiMi's cafe. Oh Sweet Heaven!!! I'm like a little piggy in a Great big mud hole. They are the best thing I have found for ages. If there is any sort of nervous breakdown coming on...(ie: test, bad day at work, any day of the week you catch my drift) These magic porn cupcakes will fix it. They are delightful. My poor bestie has had to be a unwilling partner of my downfall, because you can't just buy one, it might be lonely and that would be sad, so she gets the windfall. (Yes, I'm trying to make her ass fatter than mine, it makes me feel better. wicked laugh inserted here) They also make such delights as cake balls, cookies, and have some gluten free stuff. If you want to have a small taste of stars shooting out, fireworks, angels singing, orgasm like heaven, go get your own.

Our Crazy Nation...

I wish I had answers for all of societies problems. It would make life so much easier. The senseless shooting in Arizona seems to have gotten up the hackles of all. I am pretty much middle of the road on guns, and gun control. I have guns in my home, my boys have been through hunters safety, they have been hunting. Our guns are locked up in a secure gun safe. I guess it is called being a responsible parent. But, then I read statistics like these......

In one year: 31,224 people die from gun violence.. 12,632 people are murdered.. 683 children & teens kill themselves.. 351 are killed by police intervention.. 3,067 children & teens die from gun violence.. 613 people are killed accidentally.. 2,161 children & teens are murdered..17,352 people kill themselves..66,768 survive gun injuries.

In one day: 8 children & teens die from gun violence.. 268 people in America are shot in murders, assaults, suicides, accidents or by police intervention.. 86 people die from gun violence, 35 of them are murdered.

These make me realize that gun control and gun control laws are there for a reason. They are necessary and good. People should have to go through a minimum background check. For hells sake, I had to pass a background check to do my job. There are certain people who have lost their right to bear arms. It is a privilege, just like many things in life are. Whatever the answer is, I don't know it. I guess I'll just do the best I can do for my family, and hope that gun violence never touches my life.

January Blah...

January is just a blah month. The weather is blah, you have the holiday let down and clean up, it's cold, it's gray, the grass is brown, the snow is dirty.....the whines go on and on. No wonder people get depressed in January. That is exactly how I've been feeling. Blah. Especially with Utahs famous clean winter air. I think I need a vacation, somewhere warm, pretty, and with color. Hawaii sounds nice. Oh well, back to the Blah....dream time is over.
